China versus the digital world: a 30 year old Chinese man died after 3 days of gaming

it's sad that the digital world is now better than the "real" one to make a man stay in front of computer for 3 days. at least in China.

i wonder - would their government now block the usage of computers for longer periods ? would this impact their exports ? how would they choose between productivity versus "humanity" ?
